Cultivating community: March's Grower of the month
Elevated Botanicals & Home Growers University, our Grower of the Month isn’t about who pulled the biggest harvest or grew the flashiest plants…
It’s about something deeper.
It’s about the grower who keeps showing up—even when things don’t go as planned. The one who learns through every mistake, every setback, and every lesson the plant teaches.
Because real growth doesn’t come from perfection… it comes from persistence.
It comes from love for the plant.
From patience.
From putting in the time, asking questions, and staying committed to getting better every single run.
This spotlight is for those who respect the process, trust the journey, and continue to grow—not just plants, but themselves.
🌱 This is what our community stands for..

More than just plants: A labor of love
Here, we spotlight the heart of the homegrowing community. It's not about the biggest yield or the most exotic strain; it's about the unwavering love, the continuous learning, and the resilience shown in overcoming every obstacle. Every grower has a unique journey, and we're here to celebrate them all, from beginners to seasoned cultivators who give the most love and learn through every challenge.
I’m Chris Meadows. I got into growing mostly because I hate paying the dispensary for sub par weed, but along the way found out how much I love it and the challenge of learning and reading the plants. How to adapt to what you’re doing wrong or right. It ignited a passion inside of me that I turn led me to feel a connection to my parents who have passed. Whe they died I inherited 5 lbs of weed. That’s how connected they were to it. So now as I grow and touch my plants and learn the dirt and the problems, I feel a kindred connection to my parents guiding me as I read and learn and grow. I recently created a page called grow the meadows to post about my progress as a person and a grower in one. I can’t wait to learn all about the medicinal qualities and other ways to ingest and grow further. Thank you for your consideration and belief in me.
